In an attempt to interfere with a judicial process, president Donald Trump once again insisted on making unsubstantiated accusations against his Venezuelan counterpart Nicolas Maduro, whom he kidnapped last January without prior congressional approval, in an act that constituted a violation of international law and resulted in the deaths of at least 100 people.
