Trump insists Iran is 'begging to make a deal'
Speaking during his first Cabinet meeting since he launched the war with Iran, US President Donald Trump insisted Thursday Tehran is "begging’ to make a deal."
The president opened his Cabinet meeting with the remarks, saying he wanted to "set the record straight" that he isn’t the one pushing for a deal.
Iranian officials have denied that they are negotiating with the U.S. as the war continues in its fourth week. Trump insisted they are.
