Lebanese authorities have officially described the action as a war crime, a sentiment echoed by French Foreign Minister Jean-Noël Barrot, who stated that the journalists were deliberately targeted and called the strike a blatant violation of international law. The Committee to Protect Journalists has now documented at least 11 Lebanese press workers killed by Israeli forces since the beginning of the conflict, highlighting the increasing dangers faced by media professionals in the region.
