The Northern Territory government will soon have the power to demand cost breakdowns and potentially even change fuel prices under a 77-year-old law enacted for the first time on Wednesday. The Treasurer said he expected any reductions in fuel prices from the Commonwealth's fuel excise reduction to be passed on to consumers as soon as possible.
