The greatest #peril is not persecution it is indifference Many #today feel comfortable without #salvation They believe themselves morally sufficient They assume #peace without the #Prince of #Peace Scripture warns of a time when men cry peace and safety while destruction approaches #Comfort without #Christ is spiritual sleep before judgment Neglect hardens the heart slowly almost invisibly until repentance feels unnecessary Paul pleaded for relief from his affliction yet God answered My #grace is sufficient for thee The lesson is profound The work is God's The glory is God's The power is God's The sufficiency is #grace We #labour but God accomplishes Like #ancient #ships battered by storms vessels were undergirded with ropes to keep them from breaking apart So must our #lives and ministries be undergirded by divine #grace Without Him our #work collapses With Him even weakness becomes strength 9 a call to #urgent #obedience
