माता मीनाक्षीचे आशीर्वाद घेत त्यांनी तमिळनाडूमध्ये बदलाची गरज व्यक्त केली. तसेच पंतप्रधान Narendra Modi यांच्या नेतृत्वाखाली चांगले शासन मिळावे, अशी प्रार्थना केल्याचे सांगितले.
यावेळी त्यांनी भाषा, संस्कृती आणि सध्याच्या राजकीय परिस्थितीवरही आपली भूमिका स्पष्ट केली.
