Teenagers from Outer Space (1959) is an American independent black‑and‑white science‑fiction film written, produced, and directed by Tom Graeff. It follows Derek, a young alien who rebels against his species’ plan to use Earth as a grazing ground for their giant lobster‑like creatures called Gargons. After escaping his crew, Derek hides among humans and falls in love with a teenage girl, while the other aliens — especially the ruthless Thor — hunt him down.

The film is known today as a cult classic, celebrated for its ultra‑low budget, earnest performances, and memorable ray‑gun effects that “blast the flesh off humans.” It was originally released by Warner Bros. Pictures and later entered the public domain in the United States.
