नेशनल कॉन्फ्रेंस के प्रमुख फारूक अब्दुल्ला ने ईरान-इजरायल और भारत-पाकिस्तान के बीच युद्धविराम (सीजफायर) का पुरजोर स्वागत किया है। उन्होंने इसे मानवता के लिए अच्छा कदम बताते हुए कहा कि इससे निर्दोष लोगों की जान बचेगी और वैश्विक तनाव कम होगा। उन्होंने इसे युद्धरत देशों पर अंतरराष्ट्रीय दबाव का परिणाम बताया है.. साथ ही उन्हों ने कहा की युद्ध किसी भी मसले का हल नहीं है। बातचीत के अलावा कोई और रास्ता नहीं है... हमें नहीं पता कि शांति लौटने में कितना समय लगेगा... जम्मू-कश्मीर के बहुत से लोग उस इलाके में काम करते हैं। हमें उम्मीद है कि भारत इस युद्ध को खत्म करने में मदद करेगा।"
National Conference leader Farooq Abdullah has warmly welcomed the ceasefire between Iran-Israel and India-Pakistan. He called it a good move for humanity, saying it would save innocent lives and reduce global tensions. He has called it the result of international pressure on the warring countries.. Also he said war is not the solution of any problem. There is no other way but talks... We don't know how long it will take for peace to return... Many people from Jammu and Kashmir work in that area. We hope India will help end this war."
