Authorities on mainland China have put forward a package of 10 policies and measures to boost exchanges and cooperation across the Taiwan Strait.
The announcement comes after Taiwanese opposition leader Cheng Li-wun met with Chinese President Xi Jinping in Beijing on April 10 during her six-day visit to China.
