The band seems to have Dutch roots, as the album is often mentioned in Dutch sources and forums about jazz-rock of the time. It is noted that the name "Nothing Ventured, Nothing Gained" was later used (1987) for an album by Charlie Singleton, which however belongs to the R&B/Soul scene and is not related to the Full Moon Band9s
