PUV drivers, health workers get vegetable packs, rice from DOH
Health Secretary Ted Herbosa leads the distribution of vegetable packs and sacks of rice for public utility vehicle drivers affected by the oil crisis on April 16, 2026. The 'Purokalusugan para sa magsasaka, driver at barangay health workers' is an initiative aimed at providing aid to the sectors affected by the rising cost of goods. The DOH said the vegetables and rice were sourced directly from farmers in Nueva Vizcaya under the Sagip Saka Act (RA 11321).
