A new bar is set to open in Morley after plans to convert a disused building were agreed with the city council. A former accountant's office on Queen Street will be redeveloped after Leeds City Council granted planning permission. A report said the building dates back to around Eighteen Seventy and is part of the 'Morley Conservation Area'. A planning officer's report said serving hours would be limited to Eleven Thirty PM daily to avoid disturbance for nearby householders. The project would involve a Victorian style refurbishment of two former shop fronts. Planning reports said roof repairs, a kitchen installation and window replacements would be carried out at the vacant premises.
