DepEd, DPWH sign agreement to build more classrooms
The Departments of Education and Public Works and Highways sign a memorandum of agreement for the Classroom Construction program at the DepEd Central Office in Makati on April 16, 2026. Signing the partnership were Education Secretary Sonny Angara and Public Works Secretary Vince Dizon. In the press briefing, Angara and Dizon said that for this year, 5,000 thousand classrooms would be completed out of the 20,000 that have been started.
