Researchers and fishers are confident a species of octopus that disappeared from parts of the state's Spencer Gulf in the wake of the harmful algal bloom will make a come-back. The algal bloom had a devastating effect on cephalopods including squid, but it's not yet clear whether the bloom is the sole cause of the octopus disappearance.
