The Narungga people from South Australia’s York Peninsula say they have been sidelined in negotiations over one of the nation’s largest copper projects. They say the ‘Hillside Project’ near the town of Ardrossan is destroying Narungga heritage as it builds infrastructure to the site. They want the Federal Government to issue urgent ‘stop work’ orders.
