महिला आरक्षण विधेयकावरून राजकीय वातावरण तापलेलं असताना, Nitesh Rane यांनी काँग्रेस आणि INDIA आघाडीवर तीव्र टीका केली आहे.
त्यांनी आरोप केला की, महिला आरक्षणाच्या मुद्द्यावर विरोधकांची भूमिका स्पष्ट झाली असून त्यांनी महिलांच्या हक्कांवर अडथळा आणला आहे.
तसंच त्यांनी पंतप्रधान Narendra Modi यांच्या नेतृत्वाखाली महिला आरक्षण लागू करण्याचा निर्धार व्यक्त केला.
कॉर्पोरेट आणि शैक्षणिक क्षेत्रातील ड्रेस कोड, धार्मिक प्रतीकांबाबतही त्यांनी आपली भूमिका मांडत “सर्वधर्म समभाव” एकसमान असावा, असं म्हटलं.
या वक्तव्यामुळे राजकीय वर्तुळात पुन्हा एकदा वाद निर्माण होण्याची शक्यता आहे.
