"Storage Wars" star Darrell Sheets is dead — an apparent suicide. Now, police are asking: did cyberbullying push him over the edge?
Sheets was found dead Wednesday, April 22. His co-star, Rene Nezhoda, didn't hold back on Instagram, revealing that Sheets had been "tormented" by someone online in recent days.
"He had this guy really, really tormenting him lately and cyberbullying him," Nezhoda said. "I really hope they look into that guy."
The Lake Havasu City Police Department confirmed they're aware of the cyberbullying allegations. It's now part of an active investigation.
Nezhoda also had a message for fans: "Just because you watch us on television doesn't mean you know us. It doesn't entitle you to bully somebody. You shouldn't cyberbully at all."
Their on-screen rivalry on the hit A&E show was real — but so was their friendship. "Deep down me and Darrell were friends," Nezhoda said. "He was a very hard worker who cared more than anyone about his family."
No further details yet. Police say more information is coming. 💔📺⚠️
