Watch as a couple teams up with a passerby to rescue a trapped bird after hearing strange noises from a drain.
Sarah Buttery, a marketing executive from Wallasey, England captured the heartwarming moment in Rhosneigr, Anglesey. The video begins as she hears a flapping sound and spots a bird’s beak poking out from a drain in the ground.
After struggling to lift the cover themselves, her partner goes to find help. He returns with a man carrying a crowbar, and together they manage to lift the heavy grate.
Moments later, the bird flies out safely, ending the rescue on a happy note.
The clip was shared online and Sarah said: "We passed a flapping noise. I was sure it was something and then I waited until I saw the birds beak pop out of the grid. "
"We tried to lift it but it wouldn’t open. My boyfriend went to ask for help and came back with a lovely man who brought a crow bar. He and my partner lifted the lid of the grid and the birdie flew off happily and safe."
