When it comes to wearable technology, the category has been waiting for a processor that's truly up to the task. Snapdragon's Wear Elite chip is a major milestone for smartwatches, smart glasses, smart earbuds, pendants and other gadgets built for AI experiences.
The first mainstream devices with Snapdragon Wear Elite are expected to be the next-gen Samsung and Google smartwatches (Galaxy Watch 9 and Pixel Watch 5). But it'll only be the beginning, with the other emerging form factors being the ones to watch now that have a chip capable of the AI processing demands.
