Bicol Saro Rep. Terry Ridon says the required 106 votes at the House of Representatives needed to impeach Vice President Sara Duterte 'is not difficult to surmount' as the members will decide 'based on their conscience and evidence presented' at the hearings presided over by the justice committee. Speaking at a press briefing in Quezon City on May 2, 2026, Ridon, a member of the panel, said his colleagues would be 'convinced' based on 'the evidence of unexplained wealth, confidential funds, and the threats against the president.'
