Iron Duke — First Salvo 1974 (Denmark, Progressive Rock)
A Danish band formed in the early 1970s. They released two albums in 1974 and 1977. Their debut album was recorded and mixed in the fall of 1974 at Tocano Studios in Hoerve. The album features seven symphonic and progressive tracks based on compositions by Handel and Grieg. Recommended for fans of prog and keyboards.Totally solid 70's symphonic progressive that would appeal to fans of bands like Novalis, Kaipa, Fruup and Jane. Not particularly super original, but still very well-played, and enjoyable.
