Fruit and vegetable producers in the Gascoyne are calling for a review of flood protection measures, after a third of all crops around Carnarvon were destroyed by floodwaters caused by Cyclone Narelle. They claim levees installed by the State Government caused a funnelling of water into their plantations, wiping out millions of dollars worth of crops.
