सुप्रीम कोर्ट द्वारा उन्हें अग्रिम ज़मानत दिए जाने पर कांग्रेस नेता पवन खेड़ा कहते हैं, "जब भी किसी नागरिक के अधिकारों का उल्लंघन होता है, खासकर तब जब सरकार की मशीनरी का दुरुपयोग करके ऐसा किया जाता है, तो हर नागरिक को बाबा साहेब अंबेडकर के संविधान पर इतना भरोसा होना चाहिए कि वह उसकी रक्षा के लिए आगे आए। हम सभी के साथ यही हुआ है; और यह लगातार हो रहा है। जब सुप्रीम कोर्ट ने मुझे ज़मानत दी, तो बाबा साहेब अंबेडकर के संविधान पर पूरे देश का भरोसा एक बार फिर बहाल हो गया।"
On the Supreme Court granting anticipatory bail to him, Congress leader Pawan Khera says, "Whenever a citizen's rights are violated, especially when they are violated by misusing the machinery of a government, then every citizen should have so much faith in Baba Saheb Ambedkar's Constitution that comes to his defence. This is what has happened to all of us; it is happening continuously. When the Supreme Court granted me bail, the entire country's faith in Baba Saheb Ambedkar's Constitution was once again restored."
