High Spirits ('88) Future Easter Egg To Liam Neeson In Star Wars? Ghosts & Leia Hologram Loop

A future / predictive easter egg to Liam Neeson's role in the Star Wars prequel films may exist in 1988 comedy High Spirits. At around 32 minutes, 33 seconds Steve Guttenberg's character is wandering drunk through the corridors of Castle Plunkett. The owner (Peter O'toole) has hired staff to play ghosts and scare the guests in order to give the Castle a reputation as truly haunted. Jack witnesses a repeating act in front of him: a lover's quarrel between Martin (Neeson) & Mary (Daryl Hannah), which are apparently two "real" ghosts. I thought the looping nature of the scene similar to the holographic message of Princess Leia in the original Star Wars film (1977).

In the garage scene of this at around 20 minutes in, Luke Skywalker has problems getting droid R2-D2 to playback the full recording, which stutters and restarts at a certain point. Connections: Note the ornate (star or sun pattern) style of the chamber door knocker in room in High Spirits, also the numerous cob webs. Guttenberg worked with actor / director Ron Howard in 1985 comedy Cocoon. Howard collaborated many times over the years with Star Wars creator George Lucas, including on American Graffiti in 1973 & fantasy, Willow in 1988. Liam Neeson played Jedi Master Qui-Gon Jinn in Star Wars Episode I: The Phantom Menace (1999).
