A new study is warning of the risks climate change is having on areas of Alaska. A mega tsunami hit the region last year after a coastal landslide in the Tracy Arm fjord, a narrow sea inlet. The huge waves reached heights taller than the Eiffel Tower, in an area that is frequently visited by cruise ships. Aram Fathian is a co-author of the study at the University of Calgary. He says glacial retreat is what triggered the mega event.
