बंगाल की राजनीति में आज बड़ा बदलाव हो गया है. बीजेपी नेता शुभेंदु अधिकारी ने राज्य के मुख्यमंत्री पद की शपथ ले ली है. उन्हें बंगाल के राज्यपाल ने शपथ दिलाई. शुभेंदु ने भवानीपुर में पूर्व सीएम ममता बनर्जी को हराया था. प्रोटोकॉल के हिसाब से ममता बनर्जी को भी शपथ ग्रहण समारोह का न्योता भेजा गया था. शपथ ग्रहण समारोह का आयोजन कोलकाता स्थित ब्रिगेड परेड ग्राउंड में किया गया. इस समारोह में खुद प्रधानमंत्री नरेंद्र मोदी भी शामिल हुए. इसके अलावा, केंद्रीय गृह मंत्री अमित शाह, बीजेपी राष्ट्रीय अध्यक्ष नितिन नवीन, रक्षा मंत्री राजनाथ सिंह, यूपी सीएम योगी आदित्यनाथ, दिल्ली की मुख्यमंत्री रेखा गुप्ता समेत कई दिग्गत नेता भी इस शपथ ग्रहण समारोह का हिस्सा बने.
