Canberra to Sydney rail link gets $100m upgrade to improve train speeds

The Canberra to Sydney trainline will receive $100m in new funding. The improvements to tracks and stations are expected to cut the trip to under four hours while the funding will also finance planning to further reduce the trains travel time.
