Energy Minister Dr Roodal Moonilal is insisting that the oil spill that occurred in the Gulf of Paria on May 1st was no threat to Venezuela's environment.
Venezuela has claimed that the oil reached its shores but the Minister says it was a minor event that was contained before it could spread across the border.
