The rise of artificial intelligence tools is leading to a quicker displacement of white-collar jobs in law and accounting than initially anticipated. Prominent law firms in the US have reduced associate positions following the introduction of AI legal research technologies, while the Big Four accounting firms have reported AI-related job cuts. According to Goldman Sachs, AI is projected to handle 25 to 30 percent of all professional services tasks in the next three years.
