Karla Ricci, from Los Angeles, California, USA, shared how her nanny moved to the United States to build a better life while her parents remained back home in Brazil.
For years, they stayed connected mainly through daily FaceTime calls, making the distance especially difficult.
Wanting to do something meaningful for Isabela Portes' 32nd birthday, Karla and her husband Vince secretly flew her parents to the United States for a surprise reunion.
The video captures the exact moment she sees them for the first time, instantly breaking down in tears from shock and emotion.
The touching reunion left viewers emotional as the family embraced after so much time apart.
Karla said: "Our nanny came to the U.S. to build a better life for herself and her family, while her parents remained back home in Brazil.
"For years, they’ve only been able to stay connected through daily FaceTime calls, and it’s always been hard for her not being able to truly be with them.
"For her 32nd birthday, my husband, Vince and I decided to do something special — we flew her parents out for a surprise reunion.
"She was completely shocked and instantly broke down in tears when she saw them."
