Electric vehicles (EVs) may be costly but industries using heavy vehicles should start transitioning from now if the country is to achieve net zero carbon emissions by 2050, says Transport Minister Anthony Loke.
He also said that with fuel subsidies running into the billions every month, the government is looking at ramping up the ecosystem to expand the usage of Evs.
