चुनाव खत्म होते ही पेट्रोल-डीजल महंगा होने का ट्रेंड फिर चर्चा में है। 2004 से 2024 तक के आंकड़े दिखाते हैं कि लोकसभा और विधानसभा चुनावों के बाद ईंधन कीमतों में कई बार बढ़ोतरी हुई। इस बार भी पांच राज्यों के चुनाव खत्म होने के 16 दिन बाद दिल्ली समेत कई शहरों में पेट्रोल-डीजल 3 रुपये प्रति लीटर तक महंगा हो गया। मिडिल ईस्ट तनाव और बढ़ती तेल कीमतों के बीच जनता पर महंगाई का नया बोझ पड़ा है।
