Rain has created an extra layer of difficulty at one of Australia's toughest trail running events with West Macs Monster runners pushing through wet and slippery conditions in Central Australia. Competitors in the 231 kilometre ultra marathon continued through the night along the Larapinta Trail while runners in the 128 kilometre event set off this morning.
