Residents from the regional town of Batchelor are calling for a hastily established evacuation centre to be relocated before the next major disaster event. Flood evacuees left the facility earlier this month, but locals who were shocked by the sudden development say they are yet to receive any confirmation about whether the site will be dismantled.
