Inspired by the success of the Icelandic "Planète Youth" model, this initiative is designed to proactively support youth in the Nord-Ouest region. With a focus on prevention, the project seeks to create a safer, more engaging environment for young people.
The project actively involves youth in shaping its direction through regular surveys. This ensures that the initiatives truly address their needs, concerns, and aspirations, fostering a sense of empowerment and ownership.
Thanks to financial support from Ottawa, Planète Jeunesse Nord-Ouest is set for a promising future, with plans to expand its reach and impact for over four years.
