Mumbai, Maharashtra: Actor Abhimanyu Singh, in a conversation with IANS, spoke about his experience working in both seasons of 'Inspector Avinash', saying the back-to-back shoot helped maintain continuity in his role. He called his character Devi one of the most challenging of his career, requiring mental preparation, physical transformation and staying in isolation to remain in character. Known mostly for antagonist roles, he said this part pushed him into new emotional territory and credited the strong writing and co-star Randeep Hooda’s professionalism. Singh also noted the rising demand for realistic OTT crime dramas and said timing and meaningful roles have shaped his career. He added that he values honest performances over labels, is not active on social media, relies on family support and teased upcoming projects.
