I point out possible future easter eggs to the Indiana Jones action adventure films present in 1993 Japan exclusive arcade game SegaSonic The Hedgehog. Similar visual items appear consecutively in the game. Jim Carrey played Dr. Robotnik / Eggman in the live action Sonic The Hedgehog movie series from 2020. Will Ferrell stars as TV news anchor Ron Burgundy in Anchorman. Harrison Ford played Indy and appears with the other 2 in the cast of the 2013 sequel.
Right from the start of the game, a giant boulder chases Sonic, similar to what is shown in the iconic opening scene of Raiders Of The Lost Ark in 1981. Seconds later Sonic dashes across a rope bridge that breaks & has to climb up what is left, hanging off a cliff face. Indy does this in 1994 sequel Indiana Jones Temple Of Doom.
