Senator Imee Marcos played a video during Monday’s plenary session alleging that Senate minority bloc members, including Minority Leader Tito Sotto, were pushing for Charter change and term extensions for top government officials.
Marcos said the video contained statements and footage linked to alleged proposals to extend officials’ terms until 2031, suspend national elections, and raise the presidential age requirement from 45 to 50 — a move she claimed could disqualify Vice President Sara Duterte.
