Part 6 of 9 of the Charles Dickens classic. Having heard Quilp talking to Mrs Jarley, Nell and her grandfather take to the road again and find themselves sleeping on the streets. Discovered by a furnace man he notices Nell is soaked to the skin and warns Mr Trent that she is not well, who is too concerned with escaping Quilp's pursuit to notice. Dick Swiveller seeks out Kit in the local inn with his new information about Quilp, and is nearby to overhear the mysterious gentleman talking to the Punch and Judy men, who tell them that Nell and Mr Trent were last seen working at Mrs Jarley's waxwork museum.
