Ahead of Colombia’s presidential election on May 31, polling stations opened in Venezuela on Monday. Around 179,000 Colombian citizens living in the Bolivarian nation are eligible to vote in the election, which will determine the successor to president Gustavo Petro for the 2026-2030 term.
