The actor discussed the economic hardships of the 1990s, post-liberalisation changes and the effort he put into perfecting the diction for his character. Referring to the 2008 global economic meltdown, Manoj Bajpayee said India remained relatively insulated due to the adaptability of its middle-class and lower middle-class population.
