The new head of the Southern Division of the Municipal Police Service Snr Supt Wayne Mohammed says, he has increased the layers of supervision for all shifts at the San Fernando Municipal Police Station.
It's a measure he says will prevent a recurrence of the station's robbery which left Woman Police Corporal Anushka Eversley dead, back in April.
Snr Supt Mohammed says he also plans to tackle the practice by some officers, of taking months of continuous sick leave while getting paid.
