LIONEL MESSI’S bodyguard reminded us all of his credentials ahead of the Champions League final when he REMOVED a journalist during a live broadcast – over his head!
Yassine Cheuko, famed for being Messi’s shadow ever since he made the move to MLS in 2023, picked up a Spanish journalist during a broadcast and carried him away with ease.
It all seemed pre-planned and good-natured, but the strength on show was no joke indeed!
Cheuko wasted no time picking up Brazilian sports presenter Vitor Sérgio Rodrigues and carting him off.
The bodyguard is an ex-US Navy SEAL and martial arts expert who Inter Miami hired especially for Messi.
However, he has taken on a life of his own, for how quickly he covers ground to get close to Messi and how intimidating he is to strangers.
Fans were super impressed by his effortless strength as Arsenal prepared to face PSG and took to social media to further the bodyguard’s legend.
One user posted: “The guy really has strength, it’s pure muscle and not just for show.”
Another commented: “That doesn’t exist. VSR must be around 80/90kg, and the guy picked him up like he was lifting a rag doll.”
Another replied: “Dropped just like a sack of rice lmao.”
The MLS has banned Cheuko from the touchline in the States for his imposing nature, and he has made headlines countless times over the past few years.
He also caused a stir when he tackled a child on the pitch trying to get to Messi.
