A cyberattack claimed by the pro-Iranian hacking group Handala is drawing international attention after the group said it breached the Holocaust Victim Support Center, a nonprofit dedicated to assisting Holocaust survivors and preserving historical records. According to statements posted online, the hackers claim to have stolen more than two million files, totaling roughly one terabyte of data, including emails, databases, internal communications, and confidential documents.
The material was later published on the group's leak platform. Handala alleges the files expose financial links involving certain Israeli defense companies, though the authenticity and significance of the leaked documents have yet to be independently verified.
