This dramatic incident comes just a day after TMC National General Secretary Abhishek Banerjee was heckled in Sonarpur. While Kalyan Banerjee blamed BJP supporters for the bloo-y assault and sat on a dharna, the BJP rejected the allegations, calling it public anger against TMC leaders.
