A local Trinamool Congress leader in Namkhana, South 24 Parganas, was seen returning 'cut money' to Pradhan Mantri Awas Yojana beneficiaries amid an ongoing crackdown on corruption in West Bengal. Each beneficiary had allegedly paid ₹5,000 to local leaders to facilitate their housing funds under the central scheme.
