A devastating fire broke out at the Lemon Green Restaurant in the Hauz Rani area of Malviya Nagar, South Delhi, on Wednesday morning. The horrific blaze, which reportedly started in the basement, claimed at least 10 lives due to suffocation and severe burn injuries, while 17 others were critically injured. Over 10 fire tenders of the Delhi Fire Service (DFS) rushed to the spot to conduct a massive rescue operation under the supervision of Divisional Officer Ravinder. Delhi Police and Forensic Science Laboratory (FSL) teams are investigating the cause of the fire, focusing on short circuit, gas cylinder leakage, or technical malfunction.
दक्षिण दिल्ली के मालवीय नगर स्थित हौज़ रानी इलाके में बुधवार सुबह लेमन ग्रीन रेस्टोरेंट में भीषण आग लग गई। बताया जा रहा है कि आग रेस्टोरेंट के बेसमेंट से शुरू हुई और देखते ही देखते पूरे परिसर में फैल गई। इस दर्दनाक हादसे में दम घुटने और गंभीर रूप से झुलसने के कारण कम से कम 10 लोगों की मौत हो गई, जबकि 17 अन्य लोग गंभीर रूप से घायल हुए हैं।
घटना की सूचना मिलते ही दिल्ली फायर सर्विस (DFS) की 10 से अधिक दमकल गाड़ियां मौके पर पहुंचीं और डिविजनल ऑफिसर रविंदर की निगरानी में बड़े पैमाने पर बचाव अभियान चलाया गया। दमकल कर्मियों ने कई लोगों को सुरक्षित बाहर निकाला और आग पर काबू पाने के लिए घंटों तक अभियान जारी रखा।
