RESCUERS FREE HEDGEHOG TRAPPED INSIDE ICE CREAM LID

Watch as rescuers carefully free a tiny hedgehog after it became trapped inside a plastic ice cream lid.
The heartwarming rescue was filmed by Liu Ming in Hengshui, China.
The video shows the curious little hedgehog with its head tightly wedged inside the plastic lid after apparently searching for leftover food.
At first, the rescuer attempts prying the plastic open with a single stick before trying again using two sticks, but the animal remains stuck.
After cutting away part of the plastic, the hedgehog’s nose finally becomes visible, though the rest of its head is still trapped.
The rescuer then lifts the lid upward, allowing the hedgehog’s own weight to help slide it free.
A small piece of wrapping paper remains covering the animal’s head before it is gently removed, completing the successful rescue.
