This adorable footage, which has racked up nearly nine million views online, captures a real-life Cinderella moment as a young girl, Lasca, befriends a tiny field mouse that happily climbs all over her.
At first, the family believed the tiny creature might be dead after discovering it.
However, the mouse suddenly sprang back into action and quickly appeared to take a liking to Lasca.
Rather than running away, the mouse seemed perfectly content in Lasca's company.
According to the family, the mouse remained with Lasca for quite some time after the clip ended.
The charming footage has won hearts across social media, with many comparing Lasca to a modern-day Disney princess whose kindness seems to attract even the smallest creatures.
Lasca's mother, Laura LA Rue said: "Lasca just started playing with this little field mouse.
"At first, her dad thought it was dead. Then it popped up and was totally fine.
"Even after he stopped filming, the mouse kept crawling all over her and even went on her head.
"She played with it for a while and then it eventually went on its merry way.
Viewers were enchanted by the unlikely friendship.
One person commented: "She's so Disney princess coded. I love her."
Another wrote: "Let's raise more kids like this. Well done dad."
