Lebanese President Joseph Aoun on June 6 condemned an Israeli attack on a Lebanese Army patrol that killed two officers and one soldier along the Khardali-Nabatieh road in south Lebanon. He said the strike was part of Israel's ongoing escalation despite Lebanon's effort in Washington negotiations to end the conflict.
